We've had a busy past week, which is why I haven't been updating the blog. My good friend Michelle was visiting last week from Manitoba, and we had lots of fun! From local coffee shops, to the Blue Mountain resort (kind of like Whistler Village Jr.), to hanging around the house...and oh yes, shopping! Michelle taught Addison how to walk up the stairs...now it's time to pull out those safety gates for sure!! We also went to the Barrie waterfront a couple of times, which is absolutely beautiful. There is a little water park for the kiddies, plus a number of walkways all bordered in beautiful flowers! Oh, and the view of Kempenfelt Bay is spectacular! Summer is definitely a great time to experience Barrie as a tourist :-)
Now I have 1 week to clean up and restock my kitchen before my next visitor arrives. My grandma is flying in from California so that she can meet her great-grandbaby...we're looking forward to seeing her!
