Addison has learned "Please". I am astounded at how quickly she is picking up new vocabulary these days. She is very much an imitator and wants to do what we do and say what we say. When she walks over to me and wants to be lifted up she'll say, "Up"...then I say, Addison, what do you say? And she'll get a huge grin and say "puleaaassthhhe". The other one I'm finding really cute is after we pray for a meal, Addison will nod her head and say, "Ahh-MEN!!"Addison is starting to eat whole apples (this was something her and daddy decided to do one day while mommy was at work) - I had my concerns, but she loves apples! The other thing we are testing the waters on is toilet training. I'm in absolutely no rush, and probably wouldn't have even thought of trying it for a few months, but she seems to be "interested" in the whole process. We pulled out the potty chair last night and she just sat in it, this nekked little baby with a huge grin on her face. When we brought it in the bathroom she pointed at it and said, "pee pee!" Awwwwwww..... no results at all, but when we went to take her off she screamed bloody murder! We'll see what happens!
Our garden is looking pretty good so far, lots of nice flowers coming up...though with our little flower picker (ahem...addie!), some of our flower beds are not looking nearly as nice as some of my fellow bloggers!! :-) As far as projects go, it's been very busy for us (Dan and his dad!)!! About 3 weeks ago we were having trouble with our washer and dryer and decided to take the plunge and get something much more efficient. Dan and his dad spent the week re-routing the plumbing downstairs, as we were also changing the location and making the two appliances stackable. They did a great job and we're loving how they work - though really only the washer as we have a nice HUGE laundry line in the backyard to dry with!
This past week we finally found some new flooring for the kitchen.

I have partial pictures of the room; we are still lacking a kitchen light, as we haven't found one we like yet! Addison quite enjoyed "helping"!
